Wildbull. To break down in simpler terms for you [obviously needed] Wiseowl is another fine contestant on here like yourself that has no sense of sentence structure or punctuation. But as I said, working with your obvious deficiencies, NICE EFFORT. ngc3 11.wp

Just more of people who know and people who have no idea. Dave Rankin drove Cambest for Dan Altmeyer unti Altmyer sold him. Then Case got on him. I'll let whoever wants to figure out the trainer and why the trainer picked Case. As far as Case, if you know anything about harness racing and how to really rate a driver, other than being an after dinner speaker, then you would admire and respect his talent, ability, skills, and so on. He rated at the top in every category as a driver. It was obviously his personal, mental, off the track, demons, whatever you want to call it that ruined his career.

As far as today, I doubt anybody here knows him, talks to him, and if you don't, then you don't have the capacity to understand. Today, he's still a broken man and trying to figure out how to put the pieces back together. Not so he can drive, but so he can live. I hope none of you have to figure that out.

Fuck him!! He was a low life drug addict and a woman abuser. They should put in jail the people responsible for letting him drive again.

Well said sir. Walter is a hall of famer. He will never get there because of his off track problems.

He isn't a hall of famer because he wasn't good enough. There are plenty of drivers not in the HOF with better stats than him.

Case could possibly have become the best ever, with all due respect to Campbell fans, had he not been consumed by his "issues". Never saw a driver pick one up more than Case first time out. He just showed up everywhere and won. Now....he may just be happy to be there.

Maybe my memory is shot. I remember him coming to the Meadowlands and he was not even top 5.

I doubt your memory is shot. It may have been a lot more difficult in those days to step right in and get live drives at the top track. Nowadays, any 22-year old showing promise gets many more opportunities, at multiple tracks.

Don't doubt it. It's shot, or possibly stupidity. Case was in the top 5 more than once (at least twice, and I just can't rememember if it was three times). He was also in the top 10 the next year (and missed time with an injury). Now, if anyone wants to put their money where their loud mouth is, I'll gladly take that action and bet on the twice. Too bad we are not at the track and people puffing up their chest would be more than willing to throw their money around, if they have any. But, we are stuck surfing the internet to check rumors and innuendos, LOL.

No problem...put your money up and we'll see who the big mouth is. If you don't, you proved my point. Post money with the race office. I'll do the same. Please, do it. Please let me take your money. Then you go pull your pants down and get a tape measure.
