Tessa Perrin...
« on: December 15, 2023, 01:30:59 AM »
Never really heard of her.  Wins 7 at Dayton Thursday night and a lot of them are with Chuck Crissman's owners from DE and MD.  Won 10 of her last 20 and several others on the board.  Most will never have a week like that.

Many trainers don't have a single year as good as this!

I was thinking the same thing. I'm assuming someone like Burke has won that many in one card but that is still very special.

Husband is trainer jd perrin, raced at many tracks, no stranger to positives, my guess horses are under her name , maybe because he is on suspension, but he does juice !

Correct.
They used to race at Buffalo and Batavia, before moving to Ohio.

From what I heard, she’s a pretty good nurse (RN).
JD suspended due to criminal record, assault?

okay, i dont know them and never heard of them
 but that is irrelevant
and good for them for their success
so now usta or the state association get off your ass and start checking them out, test all their horses, visit their farm or where they train and do a friendly search
if its too good to be true it usually is
not suggesting they are guilty of anything but these associations have a duty to protect the horses, other horseman and gamblers so do your fuckin job
once again not specific to this trainer but anyone or anytime something like this happens it needs to be checked out , especially if there is evidence of a nefarious past

She hasn't put a harness on one of those horses.  Those horses were shipped from Bob Belchers farm straight to Dayton probably on Belchers rig and raced.  Belcher sent the two drivers down with a pocket full of money to pay anyone they could find to paddock them.  Then they got warmed up, raced, and back on the trailer.  10 Horses  - probably 4-5 Harness is all they shipped with.  Few sets of hopples.  The Belcher way is do it on the cheap and then one day smack them in the mouth for 6-7 wins using some drug and then never use it again for a long while.  She won't win a race for a few weeks now.
