U.S.T.A.

Nothing about the guy killing the horse with the pipe, but has an article defending a T-bred trainer found to have used a banded substance because of their opposition to H.I.S.A. Strange mixed signals to me.

My bad Moe. Didn't see it on home page and looked thru past news. My point though is that it doesn't seem like they want the sport policed.

Spot on. For one to find the article via the USTA, you have to dig to find it. Whereas they post about a TB trainer facing 2 yrs for Bute. It's almost comical

There will be some say, and maybe it's true, that they are a statistic-data keeper and it's the individual state's responsibilty to police. Sure seems like they want to slant how those states do or don't do that.

you need real people running the usta. not illterate people who couldnt make it as a trainer or a driver who happen to nhave alot of money. thats all they are. look at the people who work for the usta. could bthey get good jobs in the real world? i doubt it. they are carnies who got lucky and got a well paying job to do nothing.

They rely on track contributors for a lot of news stories.

The USTA is a complete joke. They suck up to each other and not much else.

  • rainman2: yes---as i said earlier  more important things than political differences.  betting and owning horses among other things.  many other people in the world have gone through the same exact thing.  people have to learn from these experiences instead of harboring ill-will from them.  The world is screwed up because of thes things.
