Poor guy must be lonely in that booth these days.Race 9 p5 carryover7 win box 27 dd 27/47 p5 27/47/2/6/12
Such a shame. I was staying with friend near Goshen a couple of months ago through Monday and I was pumped to hit Monti ( been there over 100 times at least in their better days) and the pipes broke and they cancelled.I would have kept Howard company....Watch it you clowns...not in that way. I'll leave that to the strippers I would have invited to the booth.Race 10 47 for the dd dd 47/2 p4 carryover 47/2/6/12
I wonder if Johnny's go go stripper bar is still across from the raceway. My memories of it were up to the early 90's. Also at that time everybody including the drivers and trainers hung out in Carpenito's restaurant/bar across the street.
They still let fans in at Monti? I thought they shut that down because literally only 10 people were showing up at the track.
If you go back even further in the 70s -- Johnny's was quite popular, also the Bon Vivant. Across the street from the track you had the Round Robin diner and the Chateau restaurant/bar.
I haven’t been to MR in at least 5 years but can tell you nothing but a mechanic was open directly across from the track. Tilly’s is still open up the hill going east as is a Best Western hotel.
Is Tilly's still an old time silver diner?I used to love their peanut butter pie.Is Carpenito's still there?
