Chronic Gamblers - Fords, NJ OTW
« on: March 10, 2024, 04:31:33 PM »
Any horse player has seen these animals both at the track and at off track wagering facilities.  They have never bought a program or racing form in their lives and walk in and bet hundreds on numbers, license plates, birthdays, etc.  Most of the time they are old POS who are just getting out of the house to avoid their wrinkled up old hag they are married to for 60 years if she is still alive.  Otherwise they have a place to hang out and discuss their aches and pains and grandkids with other old POS who are in the same boat.

The OTW parlor in Fords, NJ is filled with this breed of animal.  They even have a homeless guy named John who brings in all his possessions in plastic bags and leaves them at the door.  If they would allow public bookmaking I could easily make a living booking these idiots bets since they only bet favorites and never anything over 10-1.  I am sure they are welcome since they donate a good deal of money daily with their lack of knowledge and only get their rocks off by betting, betting anything they can.

Why don't you set up shop and make book for these poor old broken down gamblers, instead of writing about it?

Is that the Woodbridge one?  It used to be kind of nice when they 1st opened...NFL Sunday ticket and 20 cent wings...that was 15 years ago though.
