Samantha Randazzo fired
« on: April 26, 2024, 08:46:53 PM »
NY steward Samantha Randazzo has been fired by NYRA and the jockey club.  This is the 2nd steward fired in the last few months by NYRA.  No reason given but there has to be something going on there.

The problem is chief steward Braulio Baeza-he is running the show and corrupt

i heard a rumor that if two of the stewards agree and he doesnt--his opinion is used as gospel and the other two judgments get ignored by his lone ruling

Baeza needs to go-he is the one who probably had them fired

  • Sweet: The fact of the matter is the win pool on Beau Jangles was I believe a negative pool,  his real odds not 1/9 but 1/99.  Enough already, we're the real patrons of thius F'ing sport, many of us also care for these animals despite the best don't want drugs and whipping, abuse.  Competition yes!

  • Lockedin with Pace: Robust Hanover was a very small horse driven by William O'Donnell. In fact the late Stan Bergstein used to refer to him as the "little peanut".
