He’s a salesman, no doubt, but self-effacing as to his driving ability. And actually, the UDRS posted in this thread is not bad. True story- about 10 years ago I co-owned a NY raceway horse who was Ontario sired. My trainer decided to send him up to AMac for the Grassroots series. This was before The Stable started. Horse raced a few times, garnered one check. Recently, I sat in on a The Stable webinar, and he recalled the horse, said he probably drove him badly all three starts. I told him he only sat behind him once, as Jonathan Drury took him the other two times.
Hey, owning 1% or 5 % is not for me, having owned substantial pieces of horses over 25 years. But if you love horses, and action, and especially if you live where the horses are stabled, I can think of worse ways to spend time and money.
