good driver would not make bad horses look good. you are naive. Without driving for burke,rhoades schillaci,kreiser at northfield you wont be a top 3 driver. i dont care if you are dexter dunn, yannick, or whoever yopu want. you need the good doping accounts to be successful.the good doping trainers have a ton of horses because they win.  why do they win? because they dope. they push the limits. see how far they can go. they know people who taught them how to do it or where to get it from. bottom line.

So how many races a year would Aaron win if he was a good driver??  Yall always seem to think the dopers just pick a guy out of the cornfield to drive their horses. Aaron and the rest of the top guys paid their dues with cheap stock and showed they had talent .

He had 15 drives tonight. And he could only win 2. He matched Grismore for wins tonight. Truly amazing the red headed stepchild is so bad at times.

All I am saying is you could replace Merriman with 10 different people and get the same result.  He drives 4000 races a year one way.  Yes he has a talent, his work ethic.  It is hard work driving up and down the road like a crazy man every day.  You get Jeremy Smith, Dan Noble, Brett Miller, Ronnie Wrenn, or any other cowboy from Ohio and race 4000 times a yr and you will 100% get the same results.
