Scott Zeron no effort in race 1 at 3/5

The skinny breadstick named Zeron. Gets the early stiff job of the day award at the meadowlands. Where’s Gural and his racetrack integrity judges? Looking the other way as usual.

A 3 year old filly Second over and empty in the lane against a 4 year old gelding and trainer batting 53% in the last thirty days. That’s how you get beat. It’s not Zeron it’s your handicapping.

Honestly. The filly raced well. Fastest LQ in the race. She's a bit of a hothead it would seem and that's a smart drive.

I'm a bit surprised they didn't try her in the sire stakes honestly, she seems like a nice filly.

No. You can tell the difference in those that bet and those that handicap. Horses are living breathing creatures they don’t always do what they look like they should on paper. Scotty gave the horse the trip it didn’t work out. Next time this guy should take his $2 and buy a lottery ticket then he can blame the store clerk for his loss

Thankfully for owners and horsepeople, they can trash and denigrate gamblers for serious and legit complaints. Like this one. You all collectively failed as an industry but as long as the welfare is there for you, keeping trashing your gamblers

If this is a serious issue for you.  Maybe you are better off not wagering

I'm positive that I don't need any advice. But thank you.

Did the horse race as she did the previous 2 weeks? Front end?
No.
Did zeron drive half in half out waiting for cover?
Yep.

Neither of these things are good for the game.

So let me just understand this. The horse should cut the mile, regardless of who she is in with, for the bettors? WTF are they gonna say when she backs through the field, then?

You really cannot fix stupid.

The horse left the gate hard the 2 previous starts won both,  and  is now 3/5. Why would she back through the field with the same tactics this race?
That is exactly what officials should be evaluating.
If there is all of a sudden no attwmpt to race in a similar fashion at 3/5, the horse should have trained the farm or qualified. Not racee where ther is public (and computer) money involved.
Also, gural publicly denounced half in half out racing. This drive was a clear violation.

Because she was up in class. You can't just cut miles constantly.

I don't argue with the half-in half-out piece. I just don't agree he should immediately fire her off the gate up in class, much less week after week.
