For all of those here on horseplop that moan, groan, and--
« on: June 18, 2024, 02:19:24 AM »
complain about the racing at Yonkers, please read the results from the card on Monday 6-17-2024.
1st to last in quite a few races was less than 8 lengths.
Feel free to read the results and post on this thread.

As a Yonkers supporter for over 30 years, I am stunned to see how pathetic their handle is. It must be down 30 to 50% in the last couple of years. Makes it an unbettable product. The other night they did $11,800 in a race...holy shit that's like C level handle.

Sledge if Yonkers handle is C level what do you rank the likes of Tioga, Vernon, Pocono, Plainridge, Buffalo, Batavia etc.? It is not unusual to see Superfecta pools in the $500-$900 range.

Those tracks definitely qualify for an F rating

It just goes to show you what and how welfare works!

Yonkers does nothing to promote their business product and doesn't need to as long as that free money keeps coming in!
Back by popular demand!

They've lost a lot of handle by closing the betting several seconds earlier than before.

Yonkers racing is horrible. Gate opens, they line up and most often there's very little movement, so boring.
About a month ago I saw a .10 super pay $0.84 there  ngc3
Idc if the top 4 run in betting order,a $1 super should never pay $8.40.
Yonkers is a joke, Faraldough hasn't done it any favors.

Is this intentional? Are they even aware of this? Do they even care?

The only good thing about Yonkers is that the Caribbean brothers are smoking so much weed you can get a buzz without spending a dime.

Looks like someone didn't read the charts from Monday 6-17.
Was it an anomaly?
Probably was, but the racing was good for a change.  Almost like the 1970's and 1980's!
