1. Phil Georgeff The best.
2. Max Brewer Only called one meeting at Maywood late 60's but great voice and deadly accurate.
3. Scott Ehrlich Some don't care for him. TFB. I find his calls to be crisp, accurate and exciting.
4. Gil Levine Loved his calls of certain horses. Wolfman, Clancy, Laurinda, Song Cycle, Old Time Religion. And an all time classic. Three horses same race. Bosco Rosco, Roscoe Bosco and Bosco. "Here comes the whole damn Bosco family!"

5.Tony Salvaro Fantastic voice. It made up for his cookie cutter calls and many bad guesses on horses going three wide who could barely keep up with their cover.
Now the rock bottom.
I don't know the guy's name. Filled in for Gil Levine one race a night one summer (not Scott Schwartz). Horrible voice and made shit up. Prime example: Mush Mouth sees a horse named Dixie J Adios pull from the pocket and says "Here comes Dixie J Adios and he's in a hurry!" The horse never gained an inch of ground and made a standstill break three strides later.
OK, not a harness guy, but the absolute worst race caller was Dave Feldman at Sportsman's T-breds. Bad voice, missed horses making moves, misidentified winners regularly.
