Probably will depend on trip if we get a fast pace.

1 – Its Saturday Night – Andrew McCarthy – Nifty Norman – 20-1
2 – Funtime Bayama – Dexter Dunn – Andrew Harris – 7-2
3 – Nijinsky – Louis Roy – Anthony Beaton – 2-1
4 – Mirage Hanover – Tim Tetrick – Jake Leamon – 9-2
5 – Gem Quality – Yannick Gingras – Chris Ryder – 10-1
6 – Legendary Hanover – James MacDonald – Anthony Beaton – 3-1
7 – Captain Albano – Todd McCarthy – Noel Daley – 5-1
8 – Captain Luke – Scott Zeron – Tony Alagna – 15-1
9 – Captain’s Quarters – Jody Jamieson – Herb Holland – 8-1
10 – Number Cruncher – Jordan Stratton – Erv Miller – 20-1

Beaton has risen from the ashes and once again be triumphant in victory.  If you have not noticed all things Cassie are invincible,  indestructible like the crystalline crust of a dead star's core

I like the draw. If you are looking to beat the ML favorite or second choice, this draw can help. If you don't like Beaton's colts, and you don't like the next ML choice or two, perhaps you find this a potentially good betting race opportunity.

ok so if you dont like...nijinsky, legendary, funtime
um, not sure why you could not like one or all 3 of those
what part of the draw do you think hurts these horses
i will agree that if one of these do not win you will get paid at the windows

Is Jody good enough to win a 'major' race with a terrible draw?

captian albano

i wouldnt rule him out-Noel Daley has them primed for best efforts in big races

might have won NA Cup but had no room in pocket climbing over horses

looked steppy last week--makes the price even better

Do not count out Timmy with another one his ground saving trips pushes Mirage Hanover up the rail for his patented moves to win another Meadowlands Pace

You have 3 Mohawk 'invaders' infiltrating the Meadowlands in a prestigious race (they also have 2 of the 3 shortest morning line odds).  Does it make a difference as they are not regulars at the Meadowlands and might not know the track as well as the regulars who drive at the meadowlands?

Was left left to wonder if the hot Toddy (what a dumb nickname) was trying to shut him down knowing he had 3rd place locked up and he took a little stumble.

I agree totally this horse has been close all season just can’t get there.  Timmy has had trouble also getting to the winners circle when the money is down this year.

Funtime Bayama was huge last week, with a trip he can pick them off. Nijinski will be tough from there, it seems he can do it any way and LP Roy is as good as any driver out there. He'll work him out a good trip.  I think Legendary is the dark horse here. He's been victim of some rough trips, I think if he's covered up and gets open road in the stretch he can win it all.   It's going to be tough from the 9 hole but I think this is the other one that has an outside chance. Jody will have to work out some kind of trip...but that horse has the ability.
