You must be frederick bourgault, Who else would defend him,,,,,,, Many years ago STAN BERGSTIEN said two things that i still remember,,,,,,,,, First he said that the great trainers of young horses ,,,,, HOUGHTON DANCER MILLER and others have a rich history of many generations of producing great young talent and a hundred years from now it will be great grandsons of these people training the future superstars,,, Today i cant think of one trainer superstar with any bloodlines from these people,,,,,,,,,,,,, BERGSTIEN should of been right in a normal world but not in a world of corrupt industry people,,,,,,,Today BURKE and other BURKES in this industry win all the races with drugged up horses on speed highways that favour speed drugged up horses and drivers who open holes to make sure the racing is soft with soft 56 second no stress half miles and even in half million dollar racing its still a buddy situation,,,,,,,,,,,, Next BERGSTIEN QUOTE was that a trained eye should almost never get a call from an inquery wrong and i agree but when the judges are ex horsemen its rare they get it right and its a who the F knows what the outcome will be ,,,,,,,,,,, Every sport has gone forward except harness racing and yes drugs are helping most sports
Go down the list of the families out of the business. I have 3 daughters, not one of them was involved in the business, pretty much they hated it cause I was never around. Missed softball, soccer dance classes. They knew it paid the bills, and very comfortable life style, but they were smart enough to stay away. I'm third and last generation. This sport has had chances to clean up, never did and never will. They have taken everything to the limits, nothing scares them because they will always be allowed back in the game. DEATH penalty doesn't scare them at all.
