If all goes well, this could be the most popular horseplop topic in its history!

I had a summer home up there for a few decades about 5 miles from the track in the Mongaup valley. I had more trouble with white trash and hillbillies up there than any black people.

John Manzi the Monticello raceway publicity director? He was a great guy and very friendly. He used to be a dj on the oldies doowop radio channel up there too. The whole area of Mongaup, Bethel and White Lake is dotted with trainers and drivers.

The Mongaup valley is between Monticello and White Lake and yes, it's a beautiful place. I have many great memories of the area in its heyday.

After 55 years at MR I was told the management fired him. So bad if this is true. Anyone here know what happened?
