Wacky Wednesday at Monti

Like book ends of the pick 5

Race 1
#2 Corporal Punishment - tried to leave from 8 hole, had to duck to tail of field then pull quickly. Found himself 3 wide when the 3-2 favorite stalled. Kept digging.

Race 5
#2 had 8 hole in Open 2, and didn’t seem real interested. Gets a slight class drop and draws inside. Something tells me this horse may get the good oats this week.

Race 6
#5 Ice Breakers. Tried to leave from 7 hole and broke. Was bet last week a little. Stay trotting and we shall see but this one also likes to finish 2nd and 3rd

Thursday at Monti
Race 9, modern rocks was used hard and parked before dominating field.

Friday at Yonkers
Race 11.  Town Victor. Probably overmatched but last week stuck behind dead horses, tried to swing wide and made a break

Dink, thanks for the picks! I just bet 10WP on each one. Didn't  get rich, but fun watching the races.

  • Sweet: The fact of the matter is the win pool on Beau Jangles was I believe a negative pool,  his real odds not 1/9 but 1/99.  Enough already, we're the real patrons of thius F'ing sport, many of us also care for these animals despite the best don't want drugs and whipping, abuse.  Competition yes!

  • Lockedin with Pace: Robust Hanover was a very small horse driven by William O'Donnell. In fact the late Stan Bergstein used to refer to him as the "little peanut".
