Again, why would I want to make friends with the losers and scum of the earth at the racetrack?  I have real friends and associates away from that pathetic show that they put on and call it legitimate gambling and racing?  It's all a game put on by a few insiders who actually know what most likely will happen.  40 year professional who actually lives in the very nice northwest suburbs, and not the pit of Carpentersville, Illinois.

Glenn was the manager of Trackside, and I knew him very well.  Everyday in a suit, very professional.  Unlike some painter schmo coming to the track in his painter whites!  You remember the painter at Arlington at the rail?  He also went to the OTB in South Elgin.  Now, that is your type of person!

OOOOOHHHH BOY.
Your so knowledable.
GLEN: Everyone knows. Nice guy. Knew him for years. Did not at times like me but, Can't have friends consisttly, ONE DOOOOEEES HAVE enemies.
RONNIE THE PAINTER. Yeah he wore PAINTER overhalls every day at track. Always bet PAT DAY. And I knew him. He married FRAN LUPPELA that I graduated from high school with. They got divorced, but RONNIE still was a BETTIN MANIAC. LOVED the day, and forgot the JOCK. Ronnie bet to WIN. Everyone in paddock knew him. He thought JOCK stiffed the race, He yellin and screamin. He jumps the rail to chase jock gonning back to jocks room. It was a CLASSIC. Of course he got thrown out for day.
OK 2453. You have named NUTTIN. Ball in your court.

Yeah, I may be knowledgeable, and I even know how to spell.  I'll let this go now, because you are boring me.

Bill Downes, an institution and fixture at the bar on the east side of the second floor of Trackside.  End bar stool on north side of the bar.  He was there everyday until he passed.  Now that is someone you would know.  A lifelong lush and gambling addict.
