TVG/Fan Duel is primarily a network which caters to thoroughbred racing but do cover the bigger harness tracks. I said most of their commentators know little or nothing about harness racing. The one commentator who knows the most is Dave Weaver who happens to be the brother of Mark Weaver who is part of the Weaver/Bruscemi partnership who employ Ron Burke as the trainer of their large stable. You're correct, you rarely hear any of the bad stuff that goes on in racing on their network, but their main job is to get you wager, not to tarnish the sport regardless of if they know anything or not.

As the older people are dying off, the interest in harness racing is dwindling forcing the closure of many tracks. I remember going to the old Georgetown Raceway in Delaware as kid. The racing was pretty cheap and all the purses were $500. Back then, drivers would whip their horses before the quarter just to keep a hole closed even if it meant overusing their horse. That stuff never happens these days because most drivers are buddy, buddy.
