I only wish I had thought of it first!  What is he doing to make his scam more attractive than VIP or some of the others?

If you go to Anthony MacDonald’s Facebook page under a TimeIsOnMySide main post, you will see other sub post underneath main post discussing the drive of TimeIsOnMySide. It is there all to see. Below copied and paste

Scott Zajac
Macdonald should have known better that a 71-1 shot wasn’t going to get the lead.  Fell bad for Time it was a brutal trip!

Anthony MacDonald’s reply to Scott Zajac

Anthony MacDonald
Scott Zajac youre not the only one Scott.
To maybe give some context into what went into my decision to leave:
When we were seconds from the start, it was clear the three favorites were leaving and the 8/9 were looking hard at it as well.
My thoughts were simple at that moment:
If the race lines up 5-1-2 going around the first turn, and im sitting 8th....... would I be giving myself a chance to win, or just hoping for money? This colt has raced good all year and raced well against these types.
Hes not Coach Stephanos and doesnt have a last quarter in 25.1, and I thought my best chance was to come out of there with him.
But when you leave ay 71-1 you know the risk you are taking, and thats on me.

Leaving with him put me in this very spot, and everything you said above is correct.
The toughest part about racing is dealing with the consequences of your actions.
We all want to win the breeders crown, but sometime you get parked trying.

I wasnt going to respond and im not angry at all. You're comments were fair, but I thought id reach out to give some context as what led to that brutal trip.

Have a good Sunday,

Anthony MacDonald

Next Murray Brown post to question Anthony on the drive.
Copied and paste.

Murray Brown says this below

Anthony MacDonald Anthony, I can understand your wanting to take a shot when you've got one in the Breeders Crown. What I fail to understand why if as you said, you knew the 1,2 and 5 were going to leave and there was a chance that the 8 and 9 were quite possibly going to as well, why you felt the need to do the same? Given that scenario, you were almost certainly going to get parked with almost no chance of making the top, which is exactly what happened. Am I missing something?

Anthony MacDoMacDonald’s reply to Murray Brown

Murray Brown those horses are much more likely to get you out of thenway rather than park you. My colt usually has more that 26.4 under the hood and that changed the narrative quute a bit going into the first turn.
Play the race out with me not leaving.
I get aeay eight, with moderate fractions and likely 4th over.
I may very likely have been 7th regardless?

If I get away on the lead and get shuffled to fourth im likely 4th at worst, but in a spot to do more if he at 105%.

I didnt come just to say I was there, anymore than I came to get parked. I came to win, and in that respect regardless of the outcome it was a race.

Respectfully,

Anthony

Murray Brown responding back to Anthony.

Respectfully as well Anthony, I have always been a whole lot better at driving then from the grandstand, than you professionals out there doing the work. Was there not a third option - float out there and see what that gets you? You might catch a hole, or you might latch on to some live cover and get a trip. I know you came to win, but there comes a time when realism plays or should play a role. JMO.

Anthony’s response to Murray Brown

Theres always a plan, and another, but more times than not the race is decided pretty early.
Mike Tyson said everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth. 🤷‍♂️

Bill ODonnell told me one time there are three holes in every race, the front, the back, and the ***hole looking for a spot.
Theres no spots for the ***hole at 71-1. lol

Going into the first turn I felt like the guy on the titanic who spotted the iceburg.......

Its too late at that point.
It’s upsetting, but racing.

And that folks is also another reason I got out from TheStable.CA. besides paying “miscellaneous fees” some never told what those “miscellaneous fees” were. When I got in in 2016, none of that was happening. Anthony was very apologetic if he drove a bad drive on his videos. After a while training fees went up, I rarely seen any money gained, seemed like every dime was put back on training. Even Lawmaker, who was making money, I rarely seen a dime (positive) on the bill from monies made. Got to the point he would throw his hands up in the air and say “that is horse racing” when he threw a bad drive in. Don’t get me started on what he paid his employees at $350 Canadian each week. One groom told me what they made when I was there on an open house. Basically confiding in me that their caretakers weren’t making much. That $350 Canadian was in 2016. I have no clue now at 2024 what the grooms make now. All I know is when that groom told me that I was shocked. We never did get to how much a paddock they made. The groom discussed this to me when I handed her a tip for taking care of one of the horses I owned.

He's an absolute horror show. US Customs should deny him entrance to the United States,to protect the betting public.

I am not a fan or defender of AMAC. His strategy going into the race should have been to try and get a check, not try to win when your horse was way overmatched. He felt the best way was to leave and get a hole, had it been the eliminations for $25,000 I'm sure Todd would have given him the lead, then regained, but for $600,000 he can't risk giving him the lead and having Dunn come right out with Mirage Hanover and regain from AMAC and wind up first over. Part of being a driver is to handicap the race, know your competition, and understand your realistic chances to win the race. Just because your horse made it into the finals of the Breeders Crown, it doesn't mean he has a legitimate chance of winning, if he thought he did, he's delusional.

Gh your post is spot on. Bottom line AMAC Is An Egomaniac Failed Trainer And Driver. I Had 3 Horses with the stable and got out when I saw the billing abuse, his driving and mismanagement of the horses. He needs to be shut down.

Something very shady going on, when they frown upon paying any money out they have already received (purses or sold shares), something is awry.

  Example:
f I sold a share for $800 & bought another for $400- I should be able to get the other $400 cashed out in a timely manner.

They absolutely hate that. Maybe it's for more Starbucks for Burps, I wouldn't eat/drink that shit if it was free.

You Don't Have To Worry About AMAC Becoming Driver Of The Year. Being Parked Always A Concern.

Comparing Zeron jr with Burps MacDonald?
Burps MacDonald was 0/3 & shouldn't have even been in NJ that night while Zeron is a top3 driver in big races.

Brings the whole family, who cares?
It's all swept under the "misc. rug" on the bills.

Did the horses really need him & the whole family there on the owners dime to not make a cent?

AMAC is one of the most successful businessmen in the whole industry.  He's built a money making venturefrom the ground up which supports his family and his trainers very well. Is he a grand circuit driver? ABSOLUTELY NOT but his fractional ownership if good for harness racing . Both he and his wife are attractive and likable people. I can't speak to the level of shadyness but I know I'd not be one to ever invest , however it gives a lot of people an opportunity for ownership they'd never see. If he'd step into a managerial role primarily and only drive the maidens and occasional ohio fair race his whole operation would become more desirable to many.
