No matter what anyone says.....Trump will be President
« on: November 22, 2024, 07:20:27 PM »
I love listening to the unhappy and miserable comments by the Trump haters who were so sure Harris would win. I'd have loved to be a "Fly on their wall" and they watched the election results roll in. A Pew poll, known for their reliability tells us 51% of Democrats have "no faith" in their party. The highest percentage since polls were taken. As a pro-choice, pro-gay marriage, pro-union, GOPer, there are things I don't like about Trump. But the left went to far. Gotta love how the Trump "haters" long for "safe spaces" and some "solace" as Jan. 20th approaches. Trump's "MAGA" supporters and the millions of other supporters have taken a lot of bull pre-election. We were called racist, ignorant, and hateful. Truth is, the intolerance came from the left. And in the end, that hateful rhetoric doomed them. But nothing is sweeter than watching the elitist celebs explode over these results. The most out of touch with reality fools trying to tell Americans how to live. So now, Trump has won. And for all those who thought most Americans didn't understand the stakes, you were wrong. The truth is Americans are smart. That's why the right guy won.

Dougie, agreed.
I think Trump's biggest challenge and opportunity is to find ways to put more money into the hands of Americans working hard to make ends meet, (the struggling employed) and to increase employment for the folks currently out of a job and to increase the take home $$ for the working poor.
I am a capitalist that believes a countries power is directly related to the strength of it's successful businesses and investment in innovation, but I don't think anyone can argue that the distribution of  wealth created by that success, isn't filtering down to those in the middle and bottom of the status pyramid.
Wealth shouldn't be shared equally, but it should be shared equitably.
