I am the seller 1/2 and we do train at the fairgrounds. We got a message from Harnessgait today saying and I quote...Thank you for taking the high ground" All I ever said was that the buyer never paid...1/2 yes but the other half was on hold...for how long we did not know but he wanted to pick up the horse today and we did not have the full amount. If you want to buy a horse I thought you actually had to have the money. I know he claims the money was going to be released but I much prefer we had full payment, not a promise. Not much else to the story...no ticket, no washer!!
Who buys a horse and doesn’t have $1200?
I can name one!!!
That’s not what happened, PayPal holds money if it’s a double payout, seller doesn’t understand the internet 🤪
Tell me how you know what happened. I personally spoke with Paypal twice and both times they told me the balance was on hold and would be on hold from 24 hours to 21 days. So you think we should have given him the horse and hope we get the balance. What has amazes me thru this ordeal is how many people have chimed in and they have no idea what happened as there were only 4 of us involved...myself, my partner, our trainer and the buyer...no one else.Regardless of who and how many disagree there was NO way we were going to release the horse without payment. Some idiot lady said rather than try to make 2 $600 payments he should have made 1 for $650...waited and then made the other for $550. I replied.."How about a novel idea...send $1200 at one time!!" She never answered. You have to be a total DEADBEAT to try and buy a horse for any amount and not have the money. I questioned if he had enough money feed her. And for those that can read, in our thread we stated that finding her a good home was the most important aspect. In closing one of the deadbeats excuses why he had to delay picking her up was that his truck did not run and had no heat and you think we should have trusted him....Not me, not now, not ever!!!!
