Races go off in cold weather every winter what gives? Certainly didn't look that bad.

Canceled after 1st race

“We delayed the first race post time 17 minutes to build up the pick 5 pool but it was clear our handle was not going to be good tonight. Our press release will say that the cold temperatures [with a real-feel of 11 degrees] and strong winds [with gusts to 26 mph] created an icy track,” said track chief operating officer and general manager Jason Settlemoir. “Our policy is always money first, so to minimize our losses, we felt it was best to cancel the remainder of the program.”

Settlemoir is nothing but a lapdog for Gural and needs his permission to say or do anything including going to the bathroom.
