Why is there a GO FUND ME page set up for this guy? I remember him when Continental was training his horses.  You might of heard of Ross Bikes, had horses with a lot of leading trainers, obit says he sold more than 50 million bikes, and the family is asking for money???  https://www.gofundme.com/f/honoring-randy-ross-help-us-celebrate-his-life

Weird flex, made all this $, he was so successful, his family is just too cheap to pay for his funeral?

 That'd be awful

Selfish assholes.  Begging for money for an extravagant funeral?  Donate it to a good cause.  Seems like a huge waste or it’s just a money grab scam!

My father did have insurance and accidental death, but it'll take 30-60+ days to go through. I hate having to do this fundraiser, it's the last thing I want to think about right now, but it's temporarily needed.

Why not take out a short term (30-60 day) loan if you will have all the money you need after collecting on the insurance policy?

Bingo!  It’s a money grab plain and simple.  They are truthful in the fact they will spend go fund me on the funeral but then pocket all the insurance money.  Hard to believe that many suckers already donated.

Every Funeral Home I have ever dealt with has been more then willing to accept a small down payment, and the balance when insurance comes thru.

The Executor can take money out of the estate to pay for the funeral. Surely such a successful person wasn't flat broke. Anyway, insurance pays out quick under normal circumstances.
