It is common for owners to move their horses. The ones who spend big need a superstar to have any chance of making money. Rich people that like harness racing want to win the biggest races. They are less concerned about the money. In the old days the stakes were mostly reserved for the real trainers...in my opinion. Today you have to compete with the big cheats & that makes it even harder.

actually if you look at some of the recent sales results she trains some moderately priced yearlings and does ok
has she not won the hambo the last two years
karl cost $135
tactical approach cost $85k
this year she had champagne problems(made $650k) who cost $35k
what horses did marvin katz pull from her ???

i can think of one or two trainers who get more quantity and quality and have had no where near the success the last to years

Yes we(trainers) do, have, and will turn down some horses and some owners. Anyway I sure as hell have.

True, didn’t Welch give Lucpark the boot?   ngc3

Did Jimmy say he was cutting back or really retiring? If so many would leave & in a hurry.

 Saying it for 5+ years now
Always love to watch my horses race;
 We don't need to race, it's the camaraderie & the bond with the horses that makes it special.

I’ve also heard her bills are questionable at best.

If you tried charging $15,000 a month, your stalls would be empty!

Don't be an imbecile and believe this.

Nancy does not charge/bill $15,000 per month. Period.

   Imagine showing up to jog your horse and see her beautiful body and that gorgeous smile. I’d pay whatever she wanted.
