thats about normal for most tracks
We have an unique opportunity to bring the sport to anyone with an internet signal or cable subscription. But we're too dum to create brand where people would be enticed to follow and no doubt wager. It's that simple, create an captivating and compelling product and people will love it because people love to do two things: get behind a competitor and tell their friends why they are right. The answer isn't live attendance or casino welfare money, it's getting an audience to turn in---to do that you need a production company to market the product and we're too dumb to understand that, so the beat goes on. You'd think someone would have taken a look at what happened in Ontario and given some guidance to the tracks in the US. The stupidity is staggering
Harness racing only exists in it's own slowly shrinking world.
The public’s no longer cares about harness racing. You have a better chance bringing back Blockbuster Video stores. Go to any racino, the “product” is right there in front of you………….and nobody has any interest. You can take a horse to water but you can’t make him drink it. When was the last time you went to a track and COULND’T count all the fans in about 3 seconds?
