Down, down, down
« on: January 23, 2025, 08:26:39 AM »
Handle down, purses down, race dates down.  Starting year 3 of 5-10% declines, without adjustments for inflation.

Is there anything heading up, up, up, except for costs?

This trend can not continue indefinitely.

Need some superstar horses or drives, or maybe some more celebrity owners would help.  Maybe Elon is interested in harness racing?

  • Sweet: The fact of the matter is the win pool on Beau Jangles was I believe a negative pool,  his real odds not 1/9 but 1/99.  Enough already, we're the real patrons of thius F'ing sport, many of us also care for these animals despite the best don't want drugs and whipping, abuse.  Competition yes!
