Is there anything this guy can do to make you cringe?  Can’t you just say attacking the idea of DEI at a press conference for a tragedy is stupid?

The DEI explanation is plain stupid. There is a major shortage of Air Traffic Controllers. Anyone could get one of these jobs if they applied and past the requirements. Nobody wants the stress and Trump blaming ATC’s without the facts is frankly stupid. The insensitivity of a attacking his political adversaries during a press conference and not focusing exclusively on the victims points out his incredible lack of empathy.

No surprise there from King Con.

DEI is a look here not over there distraction.

Look into gyroscopes( who sold tech to CCP).

With expertly trained helo pilots do you really think with all the anticollision system warnings they would rapid ascend 100 ft on target with the airliner. Really c'mon.

The more you know.

If you don’t say and do “STUPID SHIT”, you won’t have to hear/see meaningless critiquing!

I hate to jump the gun but I have a pretty good idea of what happened and how it should have been handled.  30 seconds before the collision the controller ASKED the helicopter if it had the airliner in sight. The controller at that point had no time to be asking questions.  The correct response to the helicopter closing on the intercepting airliner had to be a command to the helicopter to Turn right immediately and to command the airliner to turn right immediately.  There was no time for questions, The controller had to assert himself and take control!  Bad training? A brain fart? I don't know, but pilots aren't looking at their instruments at 500 foot, they are looking out the window at the runway.  The only one who was looking at it happening on the screen was the controller and he or she or it was indecisive!

I heard an "expert" saying that he expected they would be flying with anticollision off !
Not sure why he would say that!

Absolutely not but there are questions about the effectiveness below 500 foot.  The anti collision system is on both pilots screens and the controllers screen.  It appears that the system anticipated the collision but the controller defaulted to a question instead of a command.  While he waited for and processed the helicopter  pilots answer he lost the time needed to stop the collision.  I know I am being judgmental but call the like I see them.  I hope I am wrong!

Too bad Trump wasn't a passenger in the chopper.

Have you ever heard a president come on TV to express condolences, then go into his normal speech. I on't think he will go a day without the same shit.

Feelings?
Condolences?

A “first time” for POTUS??

However, making “accusations without proof”—SO SAD!!
