I believe Ward is 60 now. Far past his prime now.

Ward had the ‘pleasure’ to race at Northfield in the early-mid 90’s and getting the 5th/6th best drive in most races. Case, I believe Brett Miller, Grismore, and  David Hawk were also better connected with certain trainers too!
Tough to make a living then and now especially with the money they go for now.

Can someone verify the purses then. Many small purses where gambling was better than your 5%!

non winners 3 claimers went for like 2,000 i think winners over 3 claimers went for 2200 or 2400.   opens were like 12k
back when cambest prince ran the show at northfield.

Wreck was 100 percent his fault.  Holy fuck is he dangerous
I don't know what you all are watching but that was 70/30 Nobles fault at best.  Yes ward was loose lining BUT that didn't make Noble horse run in and hook wheels.  Danny hooked him from behind and then got hit and knocked out of bike.  Danny Noble pays no attention and if IF Ward moved out Danny should have moved over or grabbed up to not hook wheels.  When you on eveything Noble is on your reaction times are SLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOO OWWWWW.

Why is Noble not tested twice a week in the paddock.  No secret he loves the weed.  Already has positives on himself for it.  Anyone involved in an accident should be immediately tested. It’s like that in many professions.
