WRONG........... Just because business have subsidies it doesn't negate private ownership. While many industries receive government subsidies, three of the biggest beneficiaries are energy, agriculture, and transportation.

Top 10.
1   Boeing   Industrial   $15.5B
2   Intel   Tech & Media   $8.4B
3   Ford Motor   Automotive   $7.7B
4   General Motors   Automotive   $7.5B
5   Micron Technology   Tech & Media   $6.8B
6   Amazon   Tech & Media   $5.9B
7   Alcoa   Industrial   $5.7B
8   Cheniere Energy   Energy   $5.6B
9   Foxconn Technology Group   Tech & Media   $4.8B
10   Venture Global LNG   Energy   $4.3B

10 Million for the Meadowlands is peanuts and has to be accounted for per the subsidy's guidelines....... . which are checked by the state and meet each year.

Now you may not like them or agree with them, but that and $1.00 will get you a can of soda.

Or you can run for a seat in the N.J. goverment and change the laws, but Im guessing you dont even live in New Jersey?? Correct??

What's to hide? Why not just tell us the dollar amount of caw play is in the pools? Why so guarded about it

He completely failed to mention that due to the subsidy, it's not private any more. Be weary of his kind. There are plenty of them out there. Most likely, he's an owner or a breeder or connected in some way to the subsidy.  Apparently Blair burgess was his friend. I don't know he never stops dropping names

Gural doesn’t get money from the subsidy. The horseman do

Im aware that the subsidy goes to purses. I'm gonna retreat. Already aware site is filled with people who will bury the CAW side of the business.

Please, don't use and confuse people whining and thinking they are correct with a FACT. It will further confuse those people. If they believe receiving government funds, subsidies, whatever they want to call it, makes a privately-owned/held businesses no longer privately-owned/held, let them. Be grateful that they are not in office, in a position of authority, or even better, running the Meadowlands. LOL.

I am asking for transparency. The subsidy was contingent on handle. I want the public to know what's going on. You and the track management posters on here can tell me to bet bingo and stop asking questions. It's very apparent that there is no way anyone would disclose the information. I'm off to bingo.

Friday night there were 5 favorites out of 14 races. One were .80,  .90, $1.10, $1.80 and $2.10.
If the big boys were playing as often and as much as you think there would have been more heavy favorites.
You don’t mention horses paying $10.00 or more that should have paid $5.00 when they miss.
It works both ways.

I don't think you understand how Elite wagers. They have the benefit of accessing all of the wagering pools and exploiting potential overlays where they may exist. They are also receiving rebates between 11% to 15%. They can still earn a significant profit in a race even if they have a small wagering loss.

No need to dumbo anything, elephants aren't close to 600lbs but the E.T.C seems to be your boogeyman and that's what's scaring you.

Elite Turf Club are professional pickpockets--so I stopped betting in to the pools about 6 years ago

I don't like having my pockets picked on the first turn--if you call that "scared" then you are 100% correct

Elephants weigh between 4000-15000 lbs depending on species-so thank you for that

There are about a half dozen posters on here who will defend the privacy of the CAW play. What does that inherently tell you? They would actually rather tell customers to  leave and bet something else rather than ask questions about the caws.

I cannot see a reason anyone would defend CAW entities

if they truly believe the extra handle(which the take is virtually given away for free)will help purses--then they are unaware that purses are funded by gaming not handle

except in NJ and CA--gaming funds all the purses

not sure on this, but I believe Cal Expo receives a tiny percentage of simulcast revenue from Northern California

NJ hands out roughly $10 million to Gural for purses

why did Gural let CAW into his pools?--probably the handle would be about $1.5 mil instead of some mythological benchmark that  the $3 mil pretends to be

lets not forget the CAW is heavily rebated--so he is only making pennies off the extra handle

as far as transparency-that wont happen

does $3mil handle give bettors confidence to play that product where the CAW crushes them?

Gural must think so ........he has catererd to CAW at the expense of the bettors

all in the dreams of a casino

and they call him savior

They are all connected. I think. All employees or ancilary partners. They will run ip ddresses on you. It seems like a lot of effort to silence caw questions.
