Judge will likely lay down some heavy guidelines and set a trial date which is suicide for Merriman.  All the legal experts I spoke with said he is 100% done and going to jail for a long time if in fact it's 4th DUI, aggravated menacing and driving on suspended license.  Those are extremely serious charges and easily provable with the video evidence.  At minimum he is getting driving under suspension and a DUI.  I would imagine all the cops involved will be there to testify against him due to the fact he threatened the entire police force.

I always said you're not guilty until you run out of money. If he was smart, he got the previous DUI's reduced but he doesn't impress me as a smart person. New State is very hard on DWI. I don't know how hard Ohio is to get them reduced. I know people that had ankle bracelets, had to blow into a device to start their car, had people checking on them at home and a couple that spent over a year in state jail almost two years. One of them actually got his license back but he has more money and political pull than Merriman will ever have.

Bad publicity for anyone who supports a DWI person.  Friends will go just so far.

A friend in need is a friend indeed.

I don't expect a thing to happen this week. I wouldn't be suprised if they cut some kind of deal. Lessening charges and what not in the end.

So, Bill Rhoades and influential others who he drives for are coming in to save the day like Belcher did about 30 years ago with another famous driver there?

I could buy that, often happens. 'BUT' in this case, it would really be a slap in the face to their own
police force, if they lessen the charges and penalties significantly.

Don't hold your breath for anything tangible to happen Thursday. Certainly no expert,
but looking at the court schedule, it lists him twice. One says:'Pre-trial', the other: 'Preliminary hearing'
You tell me.
Pre trial hearing so he could possibly be put on probation until sentencing. If he is on probation he can't leave the state.

Does this mean Miami Valley, Scioto Downs, and the Ohio fair circuit in the upcoming future to make up for lost wages?

Scioto, Dayton, Mvg  Aaron has never in his life drove at them tracks and did much of anything. They treat him like he is a red headed step child. He don't drive the best horses when he shows up. Better drivers down at them tracks. There not driving against Kurt Sugg 14 races. That's just facts if you agree or not that's fine but it's the truth.

IMO. would rather have Sugg drive my horses (especially trotters) than Aaron!

Belcher didn't save walter.  It was another guy who saved Walter. Maybe Aaron should talk to him.
