When people try to denigrate members of the "MAGA" movement, they forget that many "NON-MAGA" folks  participated in this election. President Trump recieved more black, hispanic, and woman voters than he did in 2016. Those sectors of the voting public are rarely called "MAGA" people.  I'm a moderate Republican that voted for President Trump. Do I agree with all his policies? I do not. I am against the wholesale firings of whole Departments within our government. I am a big proponent of small government. I feel it would have been better achieved through attrition, buy outs, cutting the political activists, and hiring freezes. But as President, these wholesale firings, which I consider immortal and mean spirited will surely be upheld by the US SCOTUS. So, as you see, many GOPers like myself are not enamored by his every move. But on the other hand, there are policies I love. Shutting illegal border crossings. Tax rates returned to 2016 levels. Tough on crime. Support of Israel. That how politics work. No party will ever love their President completely. In fact, many GOPer's find Trump to be a bloviating, loudmouthed, bully. But the "fleas come with the dog". I still think he was a better choice than Harris.

1. Trump polled nearly similar the past 3 election cycles with blacks and Hispanics, perhaps making a small gain in the Hispanic community in 2924 due to right wingers taking over Telemundo. IMO, you can kiss that support goodbye when Dreamers end up deported (if it actually happens).
Congrats sir, you voted for a felon, adjudicated rapist, and serial liar who spends more time on the golf course than in the Oval Office.
Well done!
The guy sitting next to me in the doctor's office said he was glad Trump is getting rid of Obamacare and that his ACA is better coverage anyway. Anybody here want to tell him?  11.wp

All very well said. The problem with this is most liberals do not think this way. They think the world is coming to an end because Trump is in office . A previous post said Trump doesn't have a mandate. I would say winning the popular vote by millions of votes and all 7 swing  states is a pretty powerful mandate. Republicans had to deal with a walking corpse as president for the last 4 years and I didn't hear as much whining in those 4 years then I have in the last month. Here is an idea.. if you don't like it here, leave. Nobody is forcing you to stay here. There are plenty of socialist countries you can choose from. I hear Venezuela is nice this time of year. But that won't happen. Just like all their idiot celebrities that said they would leave, yet they are still here. Until then try supporting the man in office and quit the daily whining, bitching and complaining. It comes across as something a kindergartener would do.

Very well said, as well. Thanks.

While many people (critics) say Trump's victory was exaggerated----because of either who he ran against, and/or because the Democratic party was bifurcated, divided, had little to no choice as to who the final candidate would be, etc.----the way I see it, the victory was by a much larger margin than expected, than most thought, than the legit polls said, and so on.

Hey, the electoral vote is not representative of the "masses" so to speak. We get that. But the popular vote is. It may not count, but it is, LOL. However, is simply not believable to me that all these people voted for Trump simply because they did not want to vote for Harris. Some, yes, without question. But legitimate polls and focus groups did say that the majority of the people who did not want to vote for Harris----simply would not vote for Trump because he was the only candidate left to vote for----but that the majority of these people would simply not vote for either. Who knows. I do know one thing; like I said, he's the President, he's my President.

Sorry Mr. Fix-it. The truth is that despite the warts, he was the far better choice for President. Harris, as inept as Biden was had no clue how to govern. All fluff, no substance. As for flawed Presidents, take you pick. There were many. Kennedy and Clinton womanizers. LBJ a racist. Nixon a crook. Grant a drunk. America's history is littered with flawed men who sat in the big chair.

the Biden admin passed more legislation with bipartisan support than any POTUS since LBJ but according to you, he was inept. Infrastructure and Chips & Science Acts will repair roads, bridges, etc. We will overtake Taiwan in Chips mfg 1 day, unless out of spite Trump derails these bills which were passed in Congress.
Some people can't read a program and some are Redpilled into oblivion. We'll never know if Harris would have been a good POTUS and I'm ok with that. At least she's not a morally bankrupt loser who shits in Depends and needs Adderall to function.

Mr. Fix-it. If you think that sad patheic old man was actually in charge, I have a bridge to sell you. He was knowingly "propped up" by members of his team, with the help of the mainstream media. They admit it now. For you to be so disingenuous that you can't admit that his condition was "hidden" from Americans, is a sad reality. I felt very bad for this once good and decent public servant. I actually like Joe Biden. How you can justify the farce of a what his team did by "annointingI" his sad and ignorant VP shutting out any other more capable candidates is further proof of your TDS. As for the last part of your comment about "Adderall" , "Depends", and "loser", it's just your frustration at your side losing. Get over it.

Trump 2 Impeachments; Biden 0
Trump 34 x convicted felon; Biden 0
Trump liable for sexual assault; Biden NOT
Trump 5 or 6x bankruptcy claims; Biden 0
Trump's 1st Cabinet had nearly 300 cases referred to the DOJ for investigation; Biden 0 (also Obama 0)

I'd go on but it's probably a waste of time. Either you're on drugs, can't count, or RFK Jr's brain worm is in your skull partner.
My god the stupid stuff some people believe.

Don’t forget they didn’t indict Biden because he was mentally unfit for trial

Everybody on this thread makes good points, although I thought I joined a racing forum. In 2024, there were 245 million people eligible to vote, and 90 million didn't vote ( that's about 35% DIDNT VOTE and I was one of them. SO, I(WE) have no right to complain about who IS or who IS NOT president. I despise Trump and wouldn't vote for Harris in a million years and Biden wasn't even a consideration. Was it the right decision not to vote...probably not. It's hard to argue people's OPINIONS. No matter if we're talking politics, religion or Harness Racing etc. All I can say is I hope everybody has a great day!
