Very well said, as well. Thanks.

While many people (critics) say Trump's victory was exaggerated----because of either who he ran against, and/or because the Democratic party was bifurcated, divided, had little to no choice as to who the final candidate would be, etc.----the way I see it, the victory was by a much larger margin than expected, than most thought, than the legit polls said, and so on.

Hey, the electoral vote is not representative of the "masses" so to speak. We get that. But the popular vote is. It may not count, but it is, LOL. However, is simply not believable to me that all these people voted for Trump simply because they did not want to vote for Harris. Some, yes, without question. But legitimate polls and focus groups did say that the majority of the people who did not want to vote for Harris----simply would not vote for Trump because he was the only candidate left to vote for----but that the majority of these people would simply not vote for either. Who knows. I do know one thing; like I said, he's the President, he's my President.

Discussing politics is not something I normally do, but just this once I will. I truly believe Biden won in 2020 not necessarily because people like him but because a vote for Biden was a vote against Trump. In 2024 the tables were turned and alot of people voted for Trump because it was a vote against Kamala and the Biden administration, not necessarily because they liked Trump.

Totally agree with your point of view!..most people forget that Hillary Clinton won the popular vote over Donald Trump in 2016 by 2.9 million but he won the electoral vote...and thats what counts..right now anyways

I think my over/under for political posts since Al Gore invented the internet is about 3.  I'm not interested in debating political idealogies because it is fruitless and does more harm than good.

That being said, I cannot fathom how anyone with half a brain could possibly believe that we would be better off with another 4 years of open borders, tax and spend economics, tampons in boys bathrooms and a pathetically weak foreign policy.

I am NOT a MAGA Trumper in any way, shape or form.  Everyone knows what he is, like him or not.  We had a choice between Trump and Harris.  Trump is a thousand times better than the cackling incompetent witch.

Trump 2 Impeachments; Biden 0
Trump 34 x convicted felon; Biden 0
Trump liable for sexual assault; Biden NOT
Trump 5 or 6x bankruptcy claims; Biden 0
Trump's 1st Cabinet had nearly 300 cases referred to the DOJ for investigation; Biden 0 (also Obama 0)

BigBettor  ....  when you are typing the above, do you think for a minute that maybe that is the ultimate proof the Dems were simply out to get him?

Sorry Mr. Fix-it. The truth is that despite the warts, he was the far better choice for President. Harris, as inept as Biden was had no clue how to govern. All fluff, no substance. As for flawed Presidents, take you pick. There were many. Kennedy and Clinton womanizers. LBJ a racist. Nixon a crook. Grant a drunk. America's history is littered with flawed men who sat in the big chair.

he could never be a better choice because he tried to overturn an election that he lost and supported the violence that went with it.  He stood by when they said hang Mike Pence.  He begged the Georgia Secretary for votes in a state he lost and essentially asked him to overturn the results. He doesn't believe or care in anything other then himself.

Dan Bongiorno a conservative media podcaster is now going to be Deputy Director of the FBI.  How can anybody cry about DEI and at the same time support the parade of unqualified talk show hosts Trump has in his cabinets.  Their only qualifications are that they are Trump syncophants and Right Wing Woke.

I find it humorous that video of Barack Obama where he clearly states that government waste needed to be addressed..."line item by line item" has surfaced.
But yet the dems did nothing but offer more free money through social entitlement programs.
The interest on our debt is over 1.7 trillion this year, we will soon be unable to support any social entitlement programs such as medicare, medicaid,
social security, veteran's benefits etc.
But yet the dems were spending billions to house and feed illegals, and send money to Ukraine for an unwinnable war...and we American taxpayers were going to continue to pay for this BS.
Thank God for Trump, and thank Trump for bringing Musk to the party...without severe restrictions we will be a third rate power and the Chinese will be calling all the shots.
It will take more than a month to straighten out the mess we are in...Hell it took Biden/Harris/Obama regime a lot longer than that to screw it up.

no, sorry but I'm not now nor ever have been a lunatic conspiracy theorist. This especially holds true when you look at FACT, not fiction.
FACT  - there have only been Impeachments for Clinton and Andrew Johnson (1868 + 1998) before Trump, who was so corrupt he was impeached twice. The jury of his peers convicted him on 34 felony counts, not Democrats..A judge found him liable for sexual battery which was considered rape, not Democrats. He slandered E Jean Carroll on multiple occasions, not Democrats. He declared bankruptcy 6 times because he's a shitty businessman, not bc of Democrats.
Your POV is the true TDS,not anything the Democrats think, say, or do. The last sentence is my opinion, open to debate on its factual basis.
I'm not Hush; we live in different states. Therefore, anyone saying so I wager $1,000 I'm not him. Any takers please set up escrow account for wager. You'll lose!

Trump increased the debt more then Biden.  Yet that somehow gets past your logic.

Hey, let the arguing continue. My question is, to what end? Trump is now the President. If you don't like him, what he's doing, or anything else about him, what's your end-game? Impeachment? In a Republican-controlled-----albeit divisive-----Congress? To me, whining and bitching accomplishes nothing. Offering all kinds of evidence, proof, whatever, that he's a bad guy, a bad President, a bad whatever-----where are you going with that?

A discussion is one thing. I am all for that. Collaborative, objective, exchange of information, listening and hopefully learning from someone else's perspective and insight. Great. But when it comes from hatred, skewed, unobjective, and you are trying to "force" or "convince" the opposition, with that approach, that to me is a waste of time.

I voted for Trump each time. I felt he was the best-----of the worst candidates. When Biden won, I woke up the next day and said, OK, he's the President. I am an American, he's my President. I hope he does a great job for the country. I may not agree with what he does or how he gets there. But he's the President. Nothing the opposition does is going to change that. Carry on! LOL.

Are you for or against:
Capping the price of nsulin for seniors at $35 ?
Spending $ to fix our crumbling roads, bridges, etc. ?
Setting up broadband so that rural areas have access?
Manufacturing tech chips here in the US to give us an advantage in the global market and have quick access to the technology in the event of another shortage in Taiwan?

These are some of the things that were passed in bipartisan fashion from 2021 thru 2024.
Simple Y/N, though an explanation why/why not is ok too

This is the most disgraceful part of Trump 2. Turning on Europe/NATO and our number one trade partners.  Calling Zelensky a dictator while he helps an actual dictator.  Saying Ukraine started the war.  Russia was near done and he threw them a lifeline.  Why one might ask???
