In the 10th Race on 04/16/2025 at Saratoga Raceway while driving #8 COUNTRY CAPTAIN, Dan Rawlings did violate the whip rule by using more than forearm and wrist action. Dan Rawlings is fined $2000.00 and suspended 30 days (driving only) 04/24/2025 through 05/23/2025. This is Dan Rawlings 5th offense with in 365 days in this category. Additional violations may result in increased penalties including license revocation.

This also explains why he blew up complaining about the judges on a now deleted Facebook post.
