The Hunter Myers Memorial Race
« on: March 29, 2025, 11:11:57 PM »
The 4th race tonite at the Meadowlands Racetrack. The Hunter Myers Memorial Race. All revenue from this race will be matched by Jeff Gural and donated to Hunter's family.

How anybody can criticize this man (Jeff Gural) is beyond me!

Granted, Jeff is great for the sport. He also responded in a huge way when Tioga had that tragic fire.

He's done more for harness racing than any other track owner has ever done.

Gural always steps up in a time of need...and so does the sport and industry.

And more support has come since.

Some people help quietly. Others take the opportunity to tell you about thier helping. Over and over and over again. Like this past weekend.

How much did you contribute?   Did you ever think that perhaps it might catch on with others that are track management positions?

Put me in the private category. I've read and heard plenty of other track management being involved and being public about it. All wonderful. None of those organizations also pushed one person's name over and over and over again.

reality is if Gural's donation  was not published there would be twenty people on here calling him out for not doing more

I couldn’t agree more. Nobody and I mean, nobody has done more for harness racing than Jeff Gural.

Good for Jeff & the Meadowlands for donating to Hunter's family. It doesn't matter Gural does...because some will always have a problem with him.
