To race, you'll only have to put up a bond on the evaluation of it's worth,, which is released when your horse returns to your country.. if not returned you pay full 25% tariff of the evaluation.. more time, delays, hassle and paperwork for commercial shippers, costs will increase for everyone of us.!!
There is a simple solution; if you own horses in the US don't race in Canada.
