Are you better off since Trump took office 73 days ago?

Are things cheaper for you and your friends?

How is your 401K and stocks doing after worse month in 3 years.

Do you think consumer confidence is gaining….it has fallen every month since Trump took office and also lowest in years

Do you think we could go in a recession?

If you work in International tourism, and airline or hotel industry or live in a border town with Canada do you think the outlook is good for you?

Do you think with Tariffs for doubled and triples or more throughout the world you will be spending less for things? They also have no relation to tariffs in other countries just based on GDP exported by any country.

Do you think cars will cost more or less in the future?

Do you think as things go up will people be gambling less and therefore decreasing purses? Or do you think this will help?

The only price to go down will be gas because of lack of demand due to the economy.

Take this shit to the proper forum dumbass.

It belongs here because all this will affect horsemen adversely. Tariffs for horse sales and cost of feed and everything going up.  Less money to buy horses.  Purses likely be affected.

eggs are cheaper

They will be cheaper in future as Avian bird flu has been better which caused wholesale prices to go down.

How is your 401K? How many eggs could you buy with what you lost today?

Care to answer if inflation is up and down the last few months?  Your stock portfolio doing well?

why is it ok for other countries to tariff us but we should slap them with any?
who  helps us when we have floods and tornadoes?
does ukraine send us money when the biden admin gave the folks in nc 700 bucks?
did haiti send us money when hawaii burned down?
ISRAEL IS SMART THEY DROPPED ALL TARIFFS ON US GOODS. MAYBE OTHERS SHOULD TAKE NOTE. NOW MAYBE WE CAN WORK SOMETHING OUT WITH ISRAEL TO ALLEVIATE THE 17% THEY WERE HIT WITH.
THIS DOESNT HAVE TO BE FOREVER UNLESS OTHER DONT COOPERATE. I SUGGEST THEY COOPERATE.

Unstable, you are as unstable as the Democrat Party has become. The stock market is a snapshot of a moment in time. Of course the Dow Jones will drop the first day of tariffs, but now India, Israel, and Canada are reconsidering dropping their nonsensical tariffs on the USA and China is already concerned their business will suffer greatly.  Whoever agreed to these deals the past 40 years are morons and we CANNOT be reliant on supply chains any longer from outside countries after what we went through with Covid.  Drugs SHOULD be made here for security reasons, not in China as well. The car industry will flourish over time, once things get rolling.  Eggs are down and nobody talks about it now because it took only 2 months to occur without Biden in office. Give it a chance before you condemn the future. In 6 months the stock market will be back to new highs as the negotiations take place and these unfair tariffs on us are lessened or removed.

Isn’t it a little premature to evaluate President Trump economic policies?

Could you be right/ perhaps but I doubt it. Do you feel confident it will all go away? Consumer confidence is shot.  No one could invest in the future with Tariffs going up and down.   Do you think we will lose thousands of tourist jobs?  I do. We all know eggs have nothing to do with the President but because of Avian bird flu. I only say it because Trump said day one they would be lower and campaigned on that lie.

Let things play out and see if Trump was right or wrong.  I personally think other countries will reduce their rates to us sooner rather than later. Stocks irrationally rise and fall as we know it over any disruptions or positive happenings. Carton of 6 eggs in NYC 2 weeks ago: $4.99------last week $4.49------now $2.99------it took 9 weeks so Trump was off a bit but that supposed earth shattering issue by the media has now been squelched.

Trump considers Value added tax to be a Tariff which it is clearly not.  There is no way the European countries can change this.  It is also political suicide for them.  This is a zero sum game that likely cannot be won by wither side, just both will lose.

He is the one who made eggs an issue for months on the campaign trail. You make it like they didn’t talk about egg prices and the media both never talked about it when Biden was President. He said day one over and over.
