I thought Kamala was a terrible candidate and her choice for VP was just as bad. Even though she got crushed by Trump, most of it was Biden's fault for even choosing to run for a second term.  In my opinion it wouldn't have mattered who ran after Biden dropped out so late, because it would have been an uphill battle for anyone. The damage was already done and anyone linked to Biden was dead in the water even if they didn't cackle.
