I caught a few minutes of a town hall meeting on CNN with Bernie Sanders, and 1 of the items that he said needs to be looked into is who was buying before Trump announced the 90 day tariff delay.

The futures are down this morning in pre-market trading.....more reasons to hate and blame Trump, right? Like I said, if day to day bothers you, then you shouldn't be in the market. Take your marbles, go home, and go into guaranteed or buffered investments. Also, try bingo. It might be more your speed. LOL.

"Wake up!!! DJT doesnt give a flying F about you and me!"

Yes, I really felt the warmth from Harris and Biden.
I don't want my government caring about ME!!
I want it caring about my country, giving ME a chance to make a great life for myself.

I feel I have a better chance for that with Trump Administration than I did with Biden's.

Let me explain this to you.

Trump caved because T Bill rates were going up meaning no one wanted US Tresury bonds.  They were dumping them. I was told here that Trump was playing 4D chess and interest rates were going down and refinance the debt, the opposite happened.

When Nike buys sneakers from Vietnam they paid in dollars.  Those dollars Vietnam had then went to the safest place in the world to put it. They purchased US Treasuries.  When that is not happenning it will be not very good for the US.  We are goint to lose our status as the world economic leader slowly.  It is hard to regain the trust that Trump has undone.

Lastly if you make more money in wages it is a pay increase and you have more money.  But when the price of Chinese goods goes up you lose money.  We are not making the plastic cases for I Phones, plastic picture frames etc.  You are going to pay more or essentially a wage decrease.

"the stock market is not a slot machine, the swings trump is creating are very harmful to people and unnecessary"

The swings are only harmful if you panic and sell your position.
He never said it would be a cake walk.
"Mr. Trump urged Americans to "hang tough" and acknowledged things "won't be easy."

Like it or not, I think his Administration are using tariffs to bring countries to the table to negotiate more equitable trade agreements.  Your guess is as good as mine as to the short and long term outcomes.
Personally, I wish he had of chosen a strategy where they embarked on these negotiations, 3 or 4 countries at a time.

This is not working. We had or still have best economy in the world. Very far from perfect but wrecking the economy is not the same as DOGE firing and rehiring because they are idiots. Interest rates are up now, nothing is going to plan , that is if they even had a plan. The consequences could be very long term.

The same way predecessors from both parties did it in the past.

Unfortunately, the hypocrites only mention the person(s) from the other political party when this occurs.

Remember this:  the DUMBEST ones get caught while the SMARTEST ones don’t!!

while I am on my soapbox, let's talk about student forgiveness loans a program  started by bush 2.Not quite the same but with same goal. I have a friend that used this to vacate his loans. Under bush you had to work qualifying jobs to get this relief, and I agree it should have been the same under Biden.
