Horses don't have a choice and in the end most are tossed ending up in kill pens. They're nothing more than the vehicle used to profit. And that's a fact.
Good question. Pro-rata? Maybe "professional" wrestling? Probably not when you count both equine and human athletes, but I don't think that would be a fair comparison. Both t-breds and s-breds are a very dangerous sport. What do they say, the only sport where an ambulance follows you around? Between equine and human athletes in both sports, deaths and career ending injuries, the numbers simply aren't good.
How many standardbreds die from racing?
You heard it here everyone. I just want to memorialize it before it's edited. "Most." "Most"---definition:greatest in amount, quantity, or degree; nearly all, almost all, the majority, the preponderance, to the greatest extent.OK, OK, so, let's not even go there, and just say "most" means majority. Is that 51%? 66%? 75? 90? Most.
Mr Revolutionwhat is your answer to deal with horses at the end of their racing career whenever that isthese horses are bred with one purpose, to be race horsesi know a lot of people work hard to give them homes after they are done racing by the way you think the NFL does right by players, all kinds of the old players die early , a lot with cte, some kill themselvesit appears your answer is to eliminate harness racing ?i guess you also feel the NFL should be shut down as well
Sad thing is you can only talk about/report the ones we know
I am STUNNED by how little people actually care about them.
