PP 9 has always been in the second tier at Plainridge.

The replays go back as far as 2012, and back then the 9-horse started in the 1st tier. They don't have alot of 9 horse fields so it's difficult to find replays of races from recent years. Back in 2018 they had a 10-horse field and the #10 started in the 2nd tier. Still 9 across in 2023 and 2024.
