I was just informed that there are individuals who breed in NYS who are suddenly being denied their stallion bookings for 2026, one in particular is right here at Goshen Historic Track and beside himself that he cannot lock in his mares for 2026. This all because ONE person is telling other in NYS that if you don't like it SELL YOUR MARES and get out. Now what does that tell you? Check NYSS Code Of Ethics #6 like I've been saying for years and you will understand why no person who profits or is in the business of breeding in NYS should be a trustee of NYSS or NYS Horse Breeding Development Fund. It looks to me like: a) Someone is claiming Steve Jones said a lot of negative/bad things, b) did a lot of negative/bad things, and c) potentially caused a lot of negative/damaging consequences.

And.....in the end, it's all rumor, innuendo, and aspersion, because there is no proof.

Once again, there is no email, no conspiracies, and so on, and nothing will come out that Steve Jones is opposing, damaging, or doing anything against NY racing and/or NY breeders. Steve has been an advocate and ambassador for NY breeders from day one. The guys breeds and sells yearlings on the national scale!

All there is here is a lot of huff and puff, soapbox preaching, ranting and raving, and more of the like. Somebody shows an email heading with a name and address, then separately shows some words on a page and says it comes from the email, and then rants and raves for pages about how it shows who killed Kennedy. And people believe this? I say this is nothing more than a hatred-driven hard on that somebody has for Steve. Come on, how transparent is this? Stevie Wonder could see this.
