Track Distance Measurements ???
« on: July 18, 2022, 09:10:04 AM »
With all the world records and unbelievable last quarters at the Meadowlands, who is responsible for ensuring the track measurements are legit ? Does any commission or governing body ever measure or check for the integrity of the sport and to protect bettors?

I would like to see meadowlands and hoosier and northfield get exact up to date modern measurements of each track.

Don't think race tracks have changed much but horses, bikes and driver are better, so are the enhancements that they receive.

I agree with 3 out of 4. The drivers aren't better at all.

I guess you're right, It's a different time, they all launch these things like they're driving a dragster. They sure aren't worried about bringing one back next week.

Thats not as bad as letting the horses cut across the infield there.  That considerably shortened the distance at London.
